All That Glitters.

We are back to the time of year where sparkle is everywhere and the internet is awash with people either looking forward to, moaning about, or selling staff Christmas parties. We at Topshop had ours the other Sunday which I am sure went down like most; good but the hype surrounding it always surpasses the actual event. Below are a few festive party dresses which I think would look a treat with some Christmas sparkle.

Velvet Dress By Boutique, £125, Topshop

Limited Edition Black Embossed Wool Dress, £545, Kirsty Doyle

Cream Texture Roses Shift Dress, £50, River Island

Premium Pale Blue Snow Jewel Dress, £60, Topshop

Harriet Dress, £149, Reiss

Selena Skater Bandage Dress, £195, Whistles

Spade Mini Dress, £115, Aqua

Taking Jersey From Day To Night.

Apologies for the delay in these posts, I have just finished university for Christmas with some exams, coursework and overall little life to talk of. I shall try my utmost to make up for this with a few posts over the next couple of days. To start us off on this blogathon is this post on Topshop's latest range of basic jersey tops and how I would dress them for day or night.

Basic Button Through Sleeveless Shirt, £18.

Of a daytime, I would wear these shirts with jeans and brogues. A silk neck or head scarf, chunky jewellery or a blazer or jacket would make lovely additions to the outfit.

High Waisted 70s Skinny Jeans, £40, Kam Box Leather Brogues, £60, Fringe biker by Boutique, £180, Pearl Triple Finger Ring, £10, all Topshop. Silk Georgette Scarf by Christopher Kane, £160, Liberty.

And of a nighttime, I would stick to trousers with this shirt, throw a cuff on the upper arm and add some sparkle to the make up. And of course these sell out heels.

Patti Leopard Platforms, £100. Premium Black Leather Skinny Trousers, £250, Cream Eyeshadow in Goldmine, £7, Small Red Leather Box Bag, £40, Plaited Wave Cuff, £12.50, all Topshop.

Trench Drench.

Military Trench, £125, Topshop

If you fancy a more masculin or military take on an arguably feminine coat then this is for you. The contrasting colours make it more interesting than most on the high street. The reasons behind my choices are mainly because there are only so many looks the classic trench can get you.

Trench by Unique, £225, Topshop

Cute, quirky and casual. Need I say more?

Trench, £215, Topshop

Would love this trench right about now. You could go out wearing just about that and not much more and still have a complete outfit.

To Better Boot.

Arabia Desert Boot, £60, Topshop

That's more like it Topshop.

To Boot.

Arid Desert Boots, £65, Topshop.

Finally Topshop have some suede desert boots in and I'm not impressed. I'd like the smart desert boots that Topman make in 20 different styles and colours for men. They might just have to suffice.

High Fashion - High Street Fashion.

Below is my interpretation of Dior's AW10 look using Topshop.. for £126. Obviously it is not going to be a replica, as if it were Dior wouldn't have done it.

Coffee Crepe Wideleg Jumpsuit £50, Metallic Cracked Pewter Chain Strap Bag £26, Disc & Bead Feather Drops £25, Nails in In The Red £5, Lip Stick in Blush £7, Eyes in Good As Gold & Potion £6.50 each, all Topshop.

Dear Santa.

Father Christmas,

I have been extra good this year, just unable to save enough for this necessity. It is expensive but that's why I am leaving you an extra mince pie.

I have included a picture for extra ease in shopping and to omit any chance of error.

Thanks.

Diego Leather Bucket Bag, £750, Alexander Wang

Silver Style.

Premium Silver Mini Ornate Metal Satchel, £50, Topshop.

This. Bag. Is. Am. Az. Ing. I want it and I want it now. Every boring piece of clothing I've shoved to the back of my wardrobe can enjoy a rebirth thanks to this bag. It could be one of those 'aslong-as-I-have-this-bag-I'll-never-have-another-outfit-crisis' bags. And it would never get old and tatty, because then we would just call it an antique. It could save the day like the mini knight in armour it is. Have I gone too far yet? I do tend to do that.

A Little Loveliness.

My latest perusal of the internet unearthed these lovely pieces.

I love this dress but don't think I have the shoes or bags to dress it without going leather over-load.

Premium Leather Tunic, £150, Topshop

You can never have too many tee's which are as equally stylish as it is comfy.

Headdress T-shirt, £65, Wildfox Couture

Just because it's time my lipstick collection was expanded and following his latest works of art, who better to expand it than Tom Ford?

Private Blend Lip in Black Orchid, £35, Tom Ford

Cute but arguably a little glitz and glam for me.

Skull 18-Karat White Gold Diamond Bracelet, £650, Ileana Makri

Who doesn't love a timeless piece that is enough to brighten any Winter wardrobe?

BouclĂ© Wool-Blend Shift Dress, £910, Michael Kors

Because a girl can never have too many purses.

Crocodile-Stamped Leather Wallet, £295, Miu Miu
