My Apologies.

It is officially the most stressful week of my academic calender and for that I can only apologise. Much to my dismay, the blog posts will suffer but I'll try my utmost not to completely neglect it. If you are on here looking to procrastinate, like I do with much of my time, you might like to take a look at Peter Szuhay's website. He is an antique collector and whilst admittedly I almost fell asleep typing 'antique collector', there is the odd diamond in the rough. For example, the 'vintage bone and albatros quill pipe' below in May's VOGUE came from his collection. Pro: it's a skull. Con: it cost £800.

Marriage Mad.

Now I appreciate there is a relatively important wedding this month, I really do. But the world has gone nuptial crazy.

British VOGUE was given an option of three covers for May's issue which has never been done before, all wedding related of course. But with a name like Mario Testino behind the lens I can't complain. Lara Stone is my cover girl and one of my favourite articles is that of iconic weddings that have already passed. And as you can imagine VOGUE have created the most amazing wedding list ever.

So, the wedding in question; why does everything have to be taken too far? As illustrated below.

Rihanna. Again.

Now I know these were leaked a while ago but I just couldn't resist any longer. Two posts about Rihanna this month, I know. You can't hold it against me, she's a doll. An 'I'd-change-teams-for-you' doll. S&M is so last year, it is all about mermaids don't you know. Trade in your whips and chains for sand, sea and luscious red locks. The thing about characters; they are only as good as your imagination. Rihanna clearly has a vividly brilliant one.
