As far as this bold colour blocking trend goes, this is as adventurous as I get. Nude and black are required to tone this one down. Not that I need an excuse to wear nude or black.

Marriage Mad.

Now I appreciate there is a relatively important wedding this month, I really do. But the world has gone nuptial crazy.

British VOGUE was given an option of three covers for May's issue which has never been done before, all wedding related of course. But with a name like Mario Testino behind the lens I can't complain. Lara Stone is my cover girl and one of my favourite articles is that of iconic weddings that have already passed. And as you can imagine VOGUE have created the most amazing wedding list ever.

The Perfect Palette.

Savage Beauty. Must Buy.

Pop May 31st in your diary. It is the day Alexander McQueen's book, titled Savage Beauty, is released by The Metropolitan Museum of Art. The reflection of his work highlights the 'sadomasachistic' approach he took to many of his designs. I am not going into details, you either know it or you don't. Get the book.

Faithfully Floral.

Spring florals. How cliché. But a cliché that will continue to come around for the foreseeable future, so let's embrace it. Now, I'm not saying you will see me out in a pretty little number like below, however if and that's quite a big if I were to recommend a flowery delight, it would be along the lines of the below highend versus highstreet style. Exercise Is For Idealists.

The whole running thing is coming along great. And by great, I mean I have been once. So, I have been trying to figure ways of which I can give the impression I am pro fitness without actually having to do much of the work. Or preferably any. Short of panting along the promenade in my Lycra (again) I am considering preaching via clothing. Technically, if I were to obide by the rules of this vest, I could poison one, just not both. Body. Poison my body - everytime. That's decided then. It is amazing the guidance you can gain from clothes. It is equally amazing how you can adapt the meaning of something so far from its origin to suit oneself.
